On Thursday, 20thMay, a team of European Union political advisors and member states paid a courtesy visit to Gulu main prisons in the context of our collaboration and programs with Uganda Prisons Service in socio-economic rehabilitation, access to justice and reintegration of prison inmates. The team interacted with different stakeholders in the region under the action Bridging Opportunities for Effective and Productive Livelihoods of youth prison inmates and ex-inmates in Northern Uganda (BOPLYN), a project that is funded by the European Union.
