Morris Ogwal
Health and Nutrition Officer
Morris Ogwal holds a bachelor’s degree in Human nutrition and dietetics from Kyambogo university and a post graduate diploma in project planning and management from Gulu university. He is also currently pursuing Master in Public Health specializing in health promotion at Uganda Martyrs University. Morris has 6 years’ experience in implementation of health, nutrition and livelihood programs. He also has a background with strong Christian values and is committed to working with children and their families as well as serving the most vulnerable communities. Morris previously worked for World Vision Uganda as a community development assistant under livelihoods project, field extension worker with the Harvest Plus Uganda in the bio-fortification project and became an interim project manager under the same project. He later crossed over to health programming as a project Officer under Health and nutrition within world vision Uganda. He aims to contribute to improved health, nutritional status and sustained wellbeing of children below 5 years, pregnant lactating women and other vulnerable marginalized groups through identifying individuals or communities at risk or already victims, suggesting and implementing feasible and sustainable up to date interventions with the help of locally available and accessible easily affordable resources. He is currently working with Advance Afrika as a health and nutrition officer under ALENU Project.
