For the past years, he has worked with several international project consortium&#8217;s (CARE, Red Cross, SOS Children&#8217;s Villages, etc.), and developed a learning video as a guide for experts on &#8220;How to execute Advocacy work for CSOs in East Africa&#8221;, Dr Mark was directly involved in mobilisation, sensitisation, and participation of target groups and monitoring activities in a USAID-funded project in Uganda on Advocacy in rural communities.</p>
<p>He has significant exposure in Project management, Monitoring &amp; Evaluation; Learning &amp; knowledge management; Strategic planning; Capacity building; Proposal development &amp; writing; Documentation: report writing; preparing guidelines, frameworks, policies, action plans, studies, publications, etc; Workshop and event facilitation, presentation, moderation; Video production &amp; recording; Creative thinking, analytical, solution-oriented, team player and professional</p>
<p>He has advised organisations in setting up communication strategies and supported management and staff in consolidating this policy in daily decisions. He facilitated training on collecting and writing best practices, success stories, and producing short videos for social media, newsletters, websites, or reports with the aim to enhance advertising, fundraising, and public awareness.</p>

She is a qualified mediator and arbitrator and holds a Teaching Diploma form Middlesex University. Carla has worked in different countries such as India (New Delhi), Lebanon (Beirut), and UK (London) on a voluntary and professional basis.</p>
<p>She is German national with a legal background and has obtained vast experience in areas of Investigation and Dispute Resolution, Legal aid and support in Contract Assessment &amp; Management, Claims management: Strategy and construction of claims as well as Women&#8217;s rights &amp; children&#8217;s right to education. Ms. Carla holds a Masters of Laws in International and in Commercial Dispute Resolution Law (LLM) from the University of Westminster (UK), focusing on negotiation, arbitration, mediation and peaceful dispute settlement, and Bachelor of Laws in European Law School (LLB) from the University of Maastricht, Faculty of Law.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Micheal Ojok is a God fearing Rotaractor who is a journalist by profession. He went to Holy Rosary Primary School in Gulu for his primary education, St Joseph’s College Layibi and Kakungulu High School for O’level and later joined Gulu Central High School for his Advanced level education. He also holds several certificates in multi-media/film production trainings and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Kampala University.</p>
<p>He worked as a Production Manager at Blaze media limited and a media volunteer at Watoto Church and National Debate Council. He has a passion for debate, helping young people, politics and can do all he can to help provided he is given guidance.</p>
<p>Michael brings a wealth of experience in leadership, community service, new media and photography to a committed and results-driven team. His passion to work with young people emanates from the fact that he was a Guild President at University. This made him appreciate the value of servant leadership, and people oriented service. He likes travelling, swimming, making friends, social media, photography and watching movies.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Stephen</strong>, is a pioneer staff since the organization’s inception in 2014. He currently holds the Project Coordinator position. Stephen holds a BSc degree in Economics, Post Graduate degree in Project Planning &amp; Management. He is currently, a MBA final year Student Researcher at the Faculty of Business and Development Studies at Gulu University, a Public Chartered Institution accredited by the National Council of Higher Education in Uganda  Previously, Stephen held positions at Gulu District Local Government as an Intern, Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED)-Research Assistant, as well as Data Entrant under the Expanding Social Protection (ESP) Program with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Stephen has skills in strategic organization’s design and diagnostics, planning, administration, leadership and governance issues. He has spent over 6 years at the organisation championing the collaboration with Uganda Prison Services (UPS) under the Rehabilitation, Reformation, &amp; Reintegration of Youth (Ex) Inmates thematic area. A contribution which has significantly shaped the lives of many vulnerable and marginalized youth ex inmates in northern Uganda.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Stephen pioneered many projects for the organisation including; The Youth Entrepreneurship Enhancement Project (2014). The Norec program (formerly FK Exchange Program-2017) were he represented the organisation in Malawi at Centre for Legal Assistance (CELA; he also piloted the social enterprise model concept of Advance Afrika under the Moringa project in northern Uganda (currently Roots of the Nile (RoN)). As a Project Officer, he supported the opening of the land, organizing and mobilizing the local communities, and linking with strategic stakeholders to support the establishment of the enterprise in Awach sub county, Gulu district for 3 years. In 2020, he was recruited as a Support Business Manager under Roots of the Nile (RoN).  He was also actively involved in strengthening the capacities and mentoring of youth led organization’s in northern Uganda under the International Labour organisation (ILO), Youth Entrepreneurship Facility Program.</p>

<p>Stephen is passionate about inspiring and mentoring young people. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Uganda Martyrs University (Nkozi)) , a  certificate in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute and he is a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply. (CIPS).  Justus brings valuable experience in enterpreneurship, project planning and negotiation, which enables him to work efficiently towards the achievement of the organization&#8217;s goals.</p>
<p>Justus previously worked at Makerere University as an Assistant Procurement Officer, and with Malaria Consortium Uganda with the Under the Net Project from Ministry of Health serving as an Assistant Coordinate. He is also a former Norec Participant in the International exchange program.</p>
