Ocaya Stephen Michael
Community Liaison Officer
Stephen is an economist by profession with over three years’ experience of working in post-conflict communities particularly in northern Uganda. Over the years, he has built expertise in project management, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning, micro-enterprise development, leadership and resource management. Prior to joining us, he worked as a data clerk at Gulu District Local Government-Planning Unit and a research assistant with Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) where he rendered excellent service to community farmers in various sub-counties in northern Uganda under ACTED. As a Community Liaison Officer, he supports stakeholder analysis and ensures good coordination between projects which are funded by different development partners in the project geographical scope.
Stephen was raised in a small rural community in northern Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree and Post-graduate diploma in project planning and management from Gulu University. He enjoys watching adventure movies, playing football and reading novels.
